To think Jax Morgana Kayle still have lores referencing the Institute of War that was supposedly retconned a whole year ago is insulting...

Yeah, they're probably gonna change that when they do the new lore. Last year was sorta clearing the table for the new stuff.

To quote someone else on this board : Aren't you supposed to do the prep-work before you retcon ? It'd be like if they announced a champion's rework but only put the tooltips, not the abilities and gave it a splash but not a new model. For a year.

Well, they've been talking about this retcon for months now, and I think all these lore events are basically setting it up. I mean, they're putting so much work into it.

They don't exist anymore. Everything that had to do with the Institute of War is gone; deleted from the world. As if they ever existed in the first place.

Overall I always found it weird that these guys seemingly came out of nowhere.(correct me if I'm wrong) If they had any known connections to anything outside the IoW,I'd say that they could still exist,but they never had any. They pretty much came out of nowhere.
