Reminder that Lissandra is canonically blind

I didnt see that coming. Neither did lissandra.

Lissandra can see thermal body temperatures. That's my thought, like since she's probably the coldest thing existing, she's probably like: "Anything warmer than me must be frozen solid and or corrupted." Also I love this bitch, she's my main and she's a badass old lady. (I'm also not sure if she has feet.)

So she's basically Toph before Taliyah was mentioned. I think she see with the ice right?

Just to clarify for those who don't know, but while she is indeed blind, her powers as an Iceborn give her a kind of reverse infrared/thermal vision, which is effectively the same thing as infrared/thermal vision.

Y'know, now that I think about it, does Lee Sin use echolocation or is his hearing just really precise?

Before she became an Iceborn, Lissandra was blinded by an ursine (one of Volibear's people), and when she gained control of Black Ice she created the horns that cover the top part of her face in order to sense her surroundings.

Somebody knows the actual lore behind this? How did se loose/give up her vision?

Too bad the only time this is ever mentioned lore wise is in a random Riot post 1 year after her release.
