Is it just me or: Starguardian

Is it just me or are the splash arts for the star guardian skins super gross?

Lux's is fine: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/sites/default/files/styles/scale_xlarge/public/upload/starguardian_lux_splash_1920.jpg?itok=7mjICwWQ

Jinx is just as good: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ES1Ao21PUMI/V-BRs66USAI/AAAAAAAAUn4/2kQ3CPS8zoEms2iQDgDM3Gn7qa_KJ8SKgCEw/s640/Jinx_1920x1080.jpg

Plenty of detail, high res, some realism in there, some flare for colors and contrast.

then there's these disgusting creatures:

Poppy: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5_bW8R1zrlI/V-BRtSdQ3eI/AAAAAAAAUoA/uD-vV7r9b2EBbikzJs55ZwupiNgKd29vwCEw/s1920/Poppy_1920x1080.jpg

Bright as hell strange body shape strange body size weird pose super obnoxious contrast/colors Overall just seems obnoxious

Lulu https://cdn3.twinfinite.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/lulu-438x350.jpg

Doesn't really even look like Lulu huge head tiny body (which yordles typically have but not THIS BIG) Same problems as above^

Is it just me or are those skins kinda ruined by their really "loud" and screaming for attention splash arts? They kinda ruin the whole theme presented by the first Star Guardian (Lux) Except for Jinx who pulls it off just as well.

Not necessarily. I play Poppy on rare occasion and I love her default splash art.

But the problem is they look so obnoxious. They look like someone maxed the contrast out to 100 and brightness to 85.

It might help if you just assume that, in this universe, Lulu and Poppy are aliens and therefore carry a different tone from the others who are human.
