"That's not Urgot says Riot" - Riot

You're right. Its not Urgot. Because lore was retconed and that isn't the Headsmans Pride that we know today. No, this is an earlier model of Urgots stages.

This is my theory on a reworked Urgot going off a similar plan to Sion. Sion originally was just a raised from the dead to continue being the juggernaut for Noxus front lines. In his rework he remained that, but was expanded upon. So lets take a few key points of Urgots lore, just like they did with Sion.

"Prone to diving headlong into enemy battle lines" "Professor Stanwick Pididly, the prevailing scholar of Zaun, offered a solution. Within Pididly's laboratories, a nightmarish new body was forged for Urgot." "necromantic energies coursing through his metal veins."

These seem to match pretty right with the video. Due to Urgots uncontrollable desire to dive headlong into battle he had sustained some serious damage. He was tasked to find and kill this Ekko boy who holds great power. Unfortunately this iteration of Urgot is only melee and eventually 'killed'. Pididly scooped him up and remade him with powerful acid hunting missiles, but the damage that Ekko had caused was great and required some new limbs to walk with.

From the mouth of Meddler himself:

That's not Urgot in the Ekko video, but instead someone else that's been modified with some similar looking tech.

and on another note

That's not Singed either, though fair question certainly.

That's where you can find these quotes. So no, this fellow is not and shall never be Urgot.
