Mount Targon Event
Did Riot just forget about the Mount Targon lore event or are they just stalling for the release of Aurelion Sol to bring the remaining lore?

They actually said that it won't be a real event,like burning tides.
This could mean that its either going to be like the shadow and fortune-mini event that we got for the harrowing(so we get a story,but no lore related skins and so on),or that they really just update the targon lores.
Regardless there is still one missing spot,which is likely going to be for Taric,so I would wait until the Taric rework arrives(it will most likely be revealed after the next patch,or if we're really lucky even today).
They are waiting for Taric's rework to be out so they can fill the fifth spot ;)
Yeah as the others already said, Taric is before the next new champion. Also his hammer appeared in the barrel of the red sides shopkeeper. And Aurelion has a taunt against Taric that confirms he is an celestial aspect that lives on Mount Targon.
So i would also say they wait for Taric and his lore to come up to continue the "event". Theres a lot of stuff to still explain in the Targon lore and hopefully Taric will give some answers about all this stuff.
That's all it was though, was the LORE. There wasn't really any big thing like "Burning Tides" was.
