@Riot, Can You Help Us Separate Original Lore From New Lore?

Riot, actually tell us what lore is currently cannon, and what lore isnt. Straight from a Rioter's mouth!

What part of the old lore isn't cannon anymore? Can we finally have a detailed description of what part of the old lore is no longer cannon?

I agree with you on this one,it is kind of a mess to differentiate the old and new lores.

From what I've read they are working on all the champion lores that need an update(removing the mention of the IoW),but who knows when that will be finished. Currently all we can say is that if the lore still works even when you remove the "and so they joined the league"-part at the end, then it is still canon.....for now.

If you scour the boards and the internet, I think you'll be able to see Rioter posts on this topic.

Not at all. As far as I can tell, Riot's position has been that the old lore is cannon unless stated otherwise within the new lore... which makes things really complicated.

Since Riot's new lore is piggybacking on the old lore it's really messy and confusing to tell what is cannon and what isn't.

Riot needs to make a decisive statement about old lore vs new lore and how they co-exist. On that front, Riot's really dropped the ball and has made the lore of League of Legends a complete mess.
