Maybe I'm missing something here, but does Leona and Diana feel too similar to Kayle and Morgana?

Girl on girl relationship wise that is. Granted, Kayle's a little more holier than thou, but at the base of it, the "darker" girl isn't evil so much as rebellious and sees the error of the "light faction". They try to rebel but got cast out by their light counter-part.

...also I find it kind of amusing that a Diana would ever lose to Leona...assuming they were both balanced that is. I bet that Sightstone and other support items will so give Leona that dueling edge against Diana in their epic confrontation. :p

I think Leona and Diana are a little better explained. We know what Leona stands for and why Diana decided to leave the Solari. We have reason to sympathize with Diana, but maybe not agree with her stance.

Kayle is part of a government. Morgana does not like the government. She used evil bad magic. That's about as far as they go. Everything that's bad about Kayle we hear from Morgana's (biased) mouth, and vice versa. We don't actually know what Kayle stands for or why Morgana's magic is forbidden, we're just told it is. I hope that gets expanded on.

Maybe Morgana is watching over Diana and Kayle is watching over Leona... :OOOOOOOOOOO

It seems the same but, it is different in a lot of ways. Where as Morgana and Kayle were once sisters whom were very close but, gradually grew apart and eventually split away completely due to a disagreement.

I'm kinda fanatical about Diana so I can definitely say I'm a leading expert on her lore and everything else in between about her. Diana and Leona were not close. But, Diana looked up to Leona as a role model as someone to strive to be like.( It was not an Eros attraction like people want it to so badly be. Its just the most liked form of fanfiction but it's not canon.) Leona had power, was accepted and loved by everyone and Diana wanted the same thing. Diana saw her as a paragon of everything that was good. Diana tried to do everything in her power to gain the acceptance of her people and to get them to acknowledge the power of the moon. While at the same time tried to find away to reach her goals. Which is why she spent so much time researching and looking for the Lunari. The Solari would not listen, she was abused and punished harshly/ often for any heretical quip or thought. Eventually Diana found what she was looking for and brought the evidence of the Lunar is existence to the elders. She was marked a heretic and sentenced to death. In the end she got the power that she wanted but, not the acceptance and love of her people. She now basically wages a jihad on the Solari while also having to kill the person she looked up to all her life,

Did you read about that in my thread^^? Because I started recently a discussion about the 2 where i mentioned how these conflicts are kinda similar.

Overall I'd say they could differentiate these 2 conflicts a bit more by expanding on the kayle vs morgana conflict(since we don't have much information about this one).

I mean they made the conflict between lunari and solari appear to be pretty grey, but it is a bit hard for me to cheer for diana as leona is an undoubtly good person and that most solari actually don't know about the injustice that happened to diana(or whatever happened to the lunari),so you can't really say they are guilty of anything.

In the case between kayle and Morgana I'd like it if the conflict would become even more grey than before. We need to see both Kayles and Morganas factions do some good and some bad stuff,so that you can see either of them as right or wrong. I think this needs to extent to the characters themselves,I think Kayle would fit pretty well into the "Lawful neutral"-zone of the morality-spectrum even though it was once said that she was undoubtly good(this could happen through character development I mean kayles lore even mentions how she uses her helmet to isolate herself a bit,so it isn't that far off)

I'm not so sure about all of that. Leona is not head of the Solari. The elders still rule and the people listen to the elders without question. For example Pantheon was ordered to execute Leona by Elder jager at the right of Kor when she refused to kill her friend Malik.

You have to remember they are all still Rakkorians at heart. They are warriors bred for battle, they live for war and it's all they know. Violence and bloodshed are normal to them it's in their nature. Even if they retire they still have these qualities they will be harsh and violent. These people are not pacifist. They will want revenge for what Diana has done.

Which is partly why I do not see what Diana is doing as wrong. I am looking at it all from their cultural view. I mean these people kill half of the population born in the right of Kor.

meh. may as well finish it here so i don't have to keep talking about it.

Did you think that maybe Diana's parents were those that just came out of the Rakkor? It just says that she was born into the Solari, not her parents. ( i wish they would go a little more in depth about the champions families and stuff, it would make things a lot more interesting.) Anyway, her parents probably had those values etc. and Diana picked up on them but, repressed them i suppose because it was proper in the Solari. Diana knows how to fight obviously and her parents probably taught that to her.
