whats with the hate on the Project kat skins?

I think whenever a champion has a small model and small or few ability particles it seems like people expect there to be something glaringly different with the skin to make it worth buying because you don't really notice it as much in game. Most of the issue was that the effects weren't loud enough I think. I agree with you that it is my favorite of the three

Katarina. She's one of the 'older models', so visually she's nothing too impressive. I'm sure that someday soon they'll make her look more... modern. The older the model, the less options you have when designing something for it. If you make the effects too good, the actual model is outshined-- if you make the effects too poor, the model looks worse than it is.

The main thing I saw was people complaining about the color of her hair, they thought it should be more red but rito wasn't gonna change it. Still looks cool. TBH looking at the old project skins the new ones broke open the color palette and it's interesting. Neon colors added to the more yellowish amber ones.
