has there been follow up to this?

ive looked at the other dev blogs and havent seen anything... its been almost a year so i got to imagine they've addressed it since then and i just missed it

i mean if they haven't that means there is still no connection between the game itself and the lore world... and alot of champions lore are totally nonexistent now anyone.

Player's are still referred to as "Summoners" in game, but lore-wise, neither they or the institute exists. The goal here was pretty much to keep the game and the story as completely separate entities, as opposed to working in tandem with one another.

Nope, no follow up.

Not even finishing cleaning up the stuff that they were going to retcon out.

They keep saying the IoW and the League are no more, yet there's really no substance to that claim when multiple champion bios refer to them.

There are still summoners in lore, just the ones affiliated with IoW arent canon.

What sort of follow-up are you looking for? I'm guessing you want them to address Taric, Malphic, Jax, Fiddlesticks, Nocturne, and some others. I believe one of the narrative guys very recently said they are in fact working on new bios for a lot of champions. At the moment there isn't anything, but they are indeed working on it.

Oh and it is confirmed that Kayle and Morgana will still be from some other world, just not summoned by the IoW.

And they explain everything that we have heard here in the boards... but im not going to translate everything...
