Shouldn't Swain or Leblanc be doing something about this? I find it highly unlikely that they'd be willing to give away a weapon that could destroy cities to anyone.

Even if controlling Rhaast seems impossible, they'd certainly wouldn't give him away.

What do you guys think? What are they going to do about it? Will they even do something about it?

I think the uncovering of Rhaast was people working in secrete on behalf of Vladimir, since hes indisputably the only known Noxian to have a connection/awareness of Darkin. As well as the story that mentioned one of Vlad's murals had a scythe banner depicted in his portraits. Like if there's a bread crumb trail to follow, it can be found with Vladimir.

Destroy cities? You have high opinions on Rhaast. He can't even take over one pretty boy with good abs.

Thing is, do they even know about Rhaast, what he is? What the 'Darkin' are? Their legends are all but lost to time. 2 are still well hidden. If Swain did and does, does he think his own demon would easily counter Rhaast (which it should) and/or kill Rhaast leaving just the weapon, but then without Rhaast, the scythe is just a scythe.

LeBlanc and the Black Rose in general were manipulating Darkwill into pilfering magical artifacts from all over the world for some unknown reason (maybe just because they are mages and like magical stuff). I'm not sure if them lifting Rhaast from Ionia has anything special to do with Rhaast or if he was just being taken like other magical artifacts. Darkin do pose an existential threat to the world and Vladimir might actually be able to kill them after they are turned into weapons so that could also have something to do with it.

Looks like our villains are beginning to cross paths. Chaos is coming. Noxus is at the center. We have Swain who hates GP and is probably aware of the other darkin and the void. He also hates Leblanc and knows about Morde.

We have Leblanc: enemy of Swain and Morde

We have Morde: iiterally the lord of death biding his time to kill Leblanc (or worse) which may draw Swains attention.

We have darkin: since they are all awake, it is a sure thing that they are reaving across Runeterra to destroy their enemies.

We have Kayn and Zed who are currently dealing with Jhin.

We have Jhin (see above)

We even have Sion trying to murder Irelia.

We have Sylas who hates Demacia and Noxus both.

I am not surprised if, after a battle between Noxus and Ionia with Demacia's help, SYlas tries to kill them both and while this happens Morde awakens. Then Kayn, Zed and the darkin sense chaos and make their way to crush some fools. Leblanc bides her time to eliminate Swain during all the chaos.

And yes I am spiraling here, but I love the idea of a huge villain vs villain fight. Like Morde vs Aatrox, then Rhaast awakens, then the void shows up or something.

The weapon was stolen, so it’s not like they could do much about it. And since it gives the power of a darkin to kayn, they would struggle in a fight

Where is this quote from? If it's from someone else (like Kayn who speaks to Rhaast) it's possible that Leblanc and Swain don't actually know what it really is.
