Rhaast's lore update?
Unfair.
Aatrox and Varus got detailed lore updates but Rhaast is stuck with only mentions and one scene in Kayn's Story.
Will Rhaast every get his lore updated? Riot come on.

Just to be clear, and answering only the original question from the thread - Rhaast did not get a lore update for two reasons (both of which were asked at the time, IIRC)
- He's not a champion, so he's not going to get a bio or color story of his own like Varus or Aatrox.
- Kayn was the most recently created champion, and his lore (including Rhaast) was already in line with the planned Darkin update that accompanied Aatrox.
Having said that, there's no reason at all that we couldn't do ACTUAL stories including Rhaast in future :-)
(Kayn's in-game transformation hasn't happened in the lore, BTW. That's a what-if scenario for players to live out the fantasy and make a choice in their games, showing what he could look like if that were to one day happen... and that's just frickin' awesome!)
The thing is that Rhaast is only a secondary character. I know a lot of people will disagree because he is part of the Voice Over and we can play as him, but the "Main Character" is "Kayn, the Shadow Reaper", not "Rhaast, the Darkin Scythe". Overcome the Darkin or being consumed by it is Kayn's thematic.
This is probably the main reason why he didn't get updated. As Rhinark said, he may be updated when a fourth Darkin gets released or if Shurima gets a new update, but he might also receive a lore update when Kayn gets one. All we can do for now is wait and hope.
Well, the Darkin are getting a new addition around the end of the year, so that should be when they include Rhaast in a lore dump.
