Is the Tyrant Swain skin still lore-friendly?

The Bravo, Larry Ray, busted skulls to make Tyrant happen way back in the day. So I can't speak for Riot, but it'll always be canon to him. A version of Swain who has ascended the Noxian throne.
But now that base Swain basically represents the same idea (Swain has seized control of Noxus, no more Darkwill), you could take Tyrant as an elseworlds or alternate fantasy skin. What if Swain didn't take control of Noxus... but a demon did?
Once you guys see (and hear) more of the skin, hopefully that will become clear!
Why on earth was this downvoted? I think someone's super upset about the rework and is just downvoting every thread in this forum.
I was wondering this, too, as he seems to be the only splash art where his right non-demonic arm isn't intentionally hidden.
