So rek'sai gets a new skin before Kalista, Azir and Gnar?

You obviously have had as much time, if not more to work on a gnar skin, but instead you used it on Rek'Sai. I get that everybody wanted pool part rek'sai, and that summer was coming up, but its not like there are no shortage of skin ideas for Kalista Azir and Gnar.

They simply rushed the rek'sai skin for the pool party.Its not uncommon for them to do this.

I guess Azir,Kalista and Gnar-skins are also in the works,but they simply aren't finished yet.(or may be related to some event,for example something like underworld azir would only come out during the harrowing)

I definitely expect Gnar's skin to come out for the harrowing, I mean what kind of 4 year old isn't gonna dress up for Halloween?

The fact that rek'sai got a skin b4 gnar, kalista, and Azir... And evelynn is still waiting on VU. Riot is so lazy....on lore...on everything

Yeah because making skins for one champ affects the status of a VU so much.....oh wait it doesn't!

VUs need a lot more work than Skins(especially on champs like Evelynn who need to be redefined) and they have a champion update team dedicated to them.

I know that. But why would they say that they are giving her a VU and not give her a skin befoe that.....and go back on their word....

Originally they didn't want to give her a skin,because there is little point in adding a skin if the base is getting changed anyway. However they later decided that a simple skin like safecracker eve wouldn't be changed too much by whatever changes they are going to do with her(because even though she'll get a VU,she will most likely still be a sexy woman with a similar hairstyle),so they decided to do this one skin in the meantime.

More complex skins wouldn't be possible.

I'm pretty sure this skin means they're aren't giving her a VU no time soon. They scrapped it up and put her back and is so stupid because they think a TU is going to justify this.

They talked about this when the skin was released,saying that eves vu takes longer than intended and that they saw the chance to give eve a cheap skin.

A vu like this takes a lot of time,especially since Eve also needs changes to her character and general theme

I really want to see that one, cause it could work so perfectly, with his tower being a rook, and his units being random chess pieces (or pawns)

Azir has those visual things and prgraming of the soldiers, gnar has 2 forms, mini and mega, and kalista.... idk on that one

To be fair, Azir and Gnar have multiple models, Azir with his soldiers, and Gnar with his two forms.

And of the three, Kalista is the newest one, and like people have said, Shark'sai was a pretty popular skin request, and decent for the pool party theme..

Rek sai has 2 forms as well, as well as her portals.

Rek'sai's other form doesn't use a different model though, it's more like a different set of animations where she's underground. Gnar, on the other hand, has two completely different models with different animations.
