@Riot What's the lore behind the Red Brambleback and Blue Sentinel? (And other creatures)

I hadn't thought to ask until now, but what is the story behind the new buff guardians? Are they actual creatures, or just constructs of the summoners? If that's the case, what is the story for them looking like they do? Is it just the clash of stone architecture, and nature? Anything you can teach my Riot, I'm willing to learn!

There isn't any yet that I know of, but hey, let's make some up!

Brambleback: Powerful plant-creatures that are said to only appear in the most vibrant forests, Bramblebacks are highly territorial and ferocious. They often prefer areas with rich soil and plenty of sunlight, allowing them to grow to extraordinary sizes. The Red Bramblebacks of the Summoner's Rift gained greater power than others of their kind due to magical energy seeping in to the forest from the ruined base to the north, and have since spawned tiny offspring known as Cinderlings who as a result of this have access to fiery abilities despite their plant nature.

As Bramblebacks are very aggressive they will often fight one another for territory, which can lead to some Bramblebacks leading dangerous lives. One such creature was ousted from its prior home and was forced to live near the den of Baron Nashor. As a result every day is a worry that it and its Cinderling spawn may be fodder for the Void monster.

Sentinels: While the Summoners who brought the wretched Baron Nashor from the Void are long gone, the scars left by them remain, and people of the valleys and towns around the Rift feared the day when the Baron would decide it was time to make for a new home. In response a pair of constructs were built: the Blue Sentinels, powered by the natural energies of the landscape. These two Sentinels were stationed at key points in the Rift and given a sole task; beat the Baron in to submission if he began to stray to far out of the Rift.

This would usually result in the Sentinels being damaged almost beyond repair, so a pair of sentries was made for each Sentinel who would not only provide early warning for danger but would draw forth energy from the earth faster so that the Sentinels could repair themselves. In time they have become guardians of the Rift and have even fought off dragons that have come to roost in the area, but they still keep to their primary designation; keep the Baron in the Rift, away from people.

While you're at it, what's up with some of the new creatures as well? Why are some of the old guys gone?

I don't think any of the jungle monsters in this game except Baron have had any real story.

I like to think that summoners rift is at the summit of a mountain (probobly at the great barrier) or somewhere outside of valoran, maybe an island somewhere. Baron, who is probobly a void creature found magical power in the place that is a fitting home for his godlike power, and so he settled there. Most of the monsters are creatures who were mutated, but the buffs are ancient guardians of the place. They were forged by whoever made summoners rift which explains why there are runes etched into them. This of course is just a theory, A GAME- actually, im sure its wrong, but whatever.
