The chinese Shaco, Volidbear and Zilean are horrible

I agree with all of these. The one I'm personally on the fence with is Soraka. I like them both even if the new one is very anime

The Vayne splash made me think of Bayonetta.

I get the whole "removing comedic value and replacing it with 'rrarr im gonna kill you'" vibe with Sinful Succulence Morgana. It's one of the few skins I bought straight out of the store (as opposed to most of them just being from mystery chests or hextech), and I got it because I thought it looked funny seeing her smile considering how much it contrasted with her character (apparently Morg doesn't know how to smile anymore) as well as the random xD baker outfit and the burnt cookies and everything. Now it's just a generic angry face like all of her other skins, except this one's so poorly made that it looks like she's going to puke instead.

It's sad that it's not even the worst of the new splashes either. I think Mafia Twitch takes that position easily. It's strange how they made Twitch's two other updated skins look so good, and yet Riot took Mafia Twitch, which had a comedic splash and tried to make it badass, but just end up making it look comedic again for all the wrong reasons. I think a problem a lot of people seem to have with these updates is that there are some new splashes that look very good, and some that are passable. The problem's that there's so many of the splashes that either lost their character or just straight up look terrible.

I don't get why people like the chinese version of the Royal Shaco skin. It completely misses the theme of a royal court jester by going for grim dark cool. Doesn't even look accurate to the in game model.
