The realization just hit me. Jax is a troll. Seriously his skin tone, fingers, and body structure are fairly similar to trundle. Granted he isn't an exact replica, he is a troll nonetheless. He just happens to have a cloak and mask to hide this fact. I think there may be a chance that he is a half-troll.
Looking at Jax's splash art you can see 2 very prominent features.
Right off the bat if we compare him to trundle we can see that trundle also has 3 fingers, blue skin, and roughly the same body shape as jax.
From this I think we can say that Jax is at least part troll, either he was a troll and his head became pure energy or he was energy and somehow obtained a troll body. or maybe they are 2 entities, or an energy being took over a body.
Jax unfortunately needs new lore as his current one makes absolutely no sense without the establishment of the league of legends, maybe then we will get some more clues.
He owns the famous Rune-Terran eatery: Jax in the Box.

Nah he is the son of Baron Nashor and a lovely human woman. Skin tone/texture and multiple eyes from daddy along with his magic empowerment, overall humanoid appearance from mommy. Just like shyvana came from a dragon daddy and human momma.
Still prefer Human.
