http://i1.2pcdn.com/node14/image/article/201609/21/20160921035438a0einarbhx1yy77z.jpg well we see here iverns passive correct? well see the mark that is right in front of him? http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/naruto/images/f/fc/Forehead_Protector.png/revision/latest?cb=20160116193641 well it strikes a very similar appearance to the symbol of the hidden leaf village

Not to mention the VO of ivern's voice actor is the SAME VOICE ACTOR AS ENGLISH DUB JIRAIYA! (david lodge)

oh and also his ult Daisy has a resembelence to the wood golem jutsu used by WOOD STYLE USER Hashirama Senju

The butterflies let this slip, didn't they?

Can't keep secrets, those butterflies.

Win.

TBH: I'm not really a fan of Naruto (have only seen a couple of episodes though)

Can't blame you, insane filler to where you basically have to know what episodes to skip to enjoy the series.

Keep in mind that he also talks to the jungle monsters to defeat them. So Pain and so on are in fact jungle monsters.
