Swain and Riven's Punishment

So now that Swain is almost out and we know he is sort of a dictator that takes duty and his army very seriously, i can easily see that the punishment for desertion would be severe and swift for someone like Riven.

I was wondering why we have no special interactions about this, just "She held their hands as they died, hoping they would drag her with them". im not dismissing this interactions but it was about what happend to Riven in the past,which in turn proves the events of her desertion is still canon (unless they change it around this dialogue) , rather than current situation.** it also proves that she is no longer persumed dead by Noxus.**

Is it possible that he doesnt care like he state "you are quite forgettable? you think this would be something that Noxus take real hard and want her captured by any means?after all we all seen that daughters kill mothers , lovers kill lovers , people kill their own family in Noxus over slightest signs of disobedience.Riven was one of their best warriors,you think its possible to see more stories about this? maybe in Riven lore update and this be the focus of her lore? could she still be chased by them?

I was hoping Swain have some lines about how he feels toward her leaving Noxus like that but it appeared that he is indifferent about it. or maybe he understands how she feels, considering we seen some hints about the fact that Swain,propbly knows what he is doing might be seen as immoral and extreme.

**Edit **: i should add,the point of this topic is to discuss,how the connections between characters in league are explored. despite all the feedbacks about Swain hair,i felt like i need to point out that to me, many of the characters of this universe feel disconnected from rest of the characters. as if we are reading clusters of short stories about characters in the same universe that has no connection to each other despite being from the same line of story and close contact.

Game wise, they ran out of room(?) and they're not as close as say LeBlanc, Darius, and Urgot. Lore wise, does he even know who Riven is? There must be dozens of generals, and it's possibly she's presumed dead.

While i'm still annoyed that they've changed Swain so much kit wise (Going to miss his old zone-control style) and visually (Way less birds involved when they could have kept the birds. Would have been even more awesome if the birds following him around in the terrain responded to his abilities, but instead we got the eye of sauron. in fact, Swain kind of looks like Sauron before he donned his armor now. Also, RIP birdmode.)

While I don't know what they've changed with Swain's lore as a whole, I do know that they made him participate in the the Ionian campaign whereas in his old lore he wasn't involved due to Noxian Shennanigans likely involving some sort of corruption among the high brass. Queue him and Darius deciding to clean house in the upper tiers of Noxus afterwards. From their lore (or the old lore anyways), Riven, Darius, and Swain would all get along fairly well, as they've generally got the same mindset and vision of Noxus - That merit should be nurtured and rewarded. The strong shouldn't beat those below them into the dust and prevent them from success, but should by a symbol of aspiration, encouraging those below them to surpass themselves.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Riven was somewhat of a prodigy in Noxus before the campaign, though i'm not sure how widely known she was. She was a symbol of the pure ideal - and while it was damaged, it wasn't broken. She still fights for the Noxus she believes in - and that mindset and outlook could be a powerful tool for Swain in swaying the masses, especially if their outlook still aligns.

It might be that Swain knows she's alive, but it's 'public knowledge' that she "died" in battle. I think Swain would do something like this so people wouldn't focus on it. As you said, it's something Noxian's would take hard.

I vote we just design a LoL based MMORPG. The lore, world, etc is all fun. We could do it.

We will sort this stuff out there.
