Am I the only person who feels that Mecha Sion would have been better as a Battlecast champion?

Story-wise, personality-wise and character-wise, I feel Sion would have been better as a rogue Battlecast champion, or a Mecha champion joining the ranks of the Battlecast crew, rather than a Mecha champion on his own.

First off, he hates his creators and his successors, which makes more sense in the form of Viktor and Battlecast Cho'Gath/Skarner/etc. than yordles and the tiny Mecha team.

Secondly he thinks humanity is inferior, with the kill-all-humans vibe and robots being better and all that. Kinda stinks of Viktor again.

Thirdly, I think the Battlecast theme, rough, battered, unstoppable, fits much more nicely than the sleek, elegant Mecha line.

Maybe Sion could have been the link between the two, someone who started off as Mecha, tried the Battlecast way then ended up doing his own stuff.

We already have 2 legendary skin that are battlecast i don't think we need another one just yet. Also it's Viktor we talking about, he would never create something capable of rebelling against him.

The reason why Sion is in the mecha line is because the mecha line actually has a "transformation"-theme going on. I mean Malphite can turn into a drill-tank,aatrox into a jet and sion into a train(kha'zix doesn't have anything because he was made before the skin line developed this theme).

Also Sion is pretty much supposed to be this "super-psycho-prototype",he is pretty strong for a prototype, but unstable and rebels against his creators, which adds quite a bit of story and characterization to the mecha-line instead of having "just another guy in the bc-line"

Mecha Sion is kind of that. Mecha that turned Battlecast. He kept his Mecha design and went against the other Mechas. His lines hint that he joined Viktor's evolution, being Battlecast, so he probably is that.

The battlecast aesthetic wouldn't work for the 80's-era Transformers vibe that Mecha Sion is going for though.

yeah, I feel like the darker colors used in the battlecast series definitely fits his theme better than the bright orange mecha skin but at the same time he has mostly dark skins so I can see why they chose to brighten it up, I just whish they had done that with one of his other skins.
