Please open a exception for solo visual updates , when the champion is involved in a class update

Ok Riot, so you said that now you will give champions visual updates when they receive a gameplay update. However you also said that in these class updates none of the champions will receive visual updates. However some of the champions listed on the class update NEED VUs, so please, open exceptions for these champions to receive a solo visual update. Take Cassie for an example. She will receive be a part of the mage class update. Ok . She also needs a VU, that she won´t get during the class update, since those focus on the gameplay only. But then when will she receive another gameplay rework so she can get a Vu , a year ? 2 ? 3 ? You get the point, if Cassie is only going to get a visual update when she receives another rework , we could have to wait years for her VU, despite the fact that she needs it. So Riot, please, open a exception for the champions that are on the class updates , and allow them to receive solo visual updates. Mordekaiser , Cassie , Vlad , Malzahar , Brand and Zyra all would thank you

That would SO SEVERELY delay class updates it'd be pointless. It'd be easier to do individual VUs at that point.

And it's not like we're getting a class update so often, too. It takes ChampUp at least 4 months to do one class update, and with so many classes in need of a roster update, even one not-very-big VU will create a very big delay.

So yeah, as much as I (and I'm sure a lot of us here) love VUs, they'll have to wait if we want at least two class updates a year. :P

I don't think you got the point that I was trying to make. I do not want the Vu to come with the class update, I WANT them to be individual VU , but only VUs , and not a gameplay update. Let say the mage update is in June , so some time after June, Riot would give the mages that were in the class update a VU, since they already got a gameplay update.

Well In that case it takes away from the champions who need drastic kit changes and visual changes, i.e. visual and gameplay updates, and there are some names here that desperately need help (Taric, Yorick, Swain, Galio, Warwick, etc). Riot's pretty much focused on getting those guys who need that work specifically out of the way because of the overwhelming response projects like Sion and Poppy turned out to be.

Of course it sucks that not everyone will get their visual updates or kit reworks immediately but it's a question of priorities for multiple teams of people, and Riot's choosing to focus on the immediate champion balance that's addressable in smaller class updates which allow them to not only target a bunch of champions but also work on items and other gameplay systems, while also having folks dedicated to getting the champions who need love the most get out the door.

The way it stands, VUs on their own are probably out of the question right now due to Riot's priorities. There's only so many hours in the day and people working on a project, so they're making a call to address what's needed. Folks like Cassiopeia, Brand, Malzahar, Vladimir and Zyra can manage right now. Folks like Taric, Yorick, Swain, Galio and Warwick need a hell of a lot of love and they need it WAY MORE than the five you've listed, and more than the majority of champions who still need VUs.

My problem is Riot pulling another Fiora on our ass. I agree, Swain , Galio, Taric and so on need work more then Zyra , Cassie etc. But my problem is that Riot pulls these random champions out the bag (Fiora) and gives a visual update to a champion the community was not calling out for (Fiora)

Fiora did have an absolutely stupid kit though that was completely non-representative of what her theme presented, and that did require huge animation overhaul. It did come out of sodding nowhere though; not sure why they just went to Fiora all of a sudden.
