Yorick should get the ultimate skin this year

And it should be free to players with Mastery 5 or higher on Yorick.

This new Ahri skin has cleared the air for me. When Yorick's skin comes out, it should be incredible. No stops pulled. New VO, all new effects, complete model change, unique recall, a 20 minute video of unique interactions, huge awesome particles. There should be an event where Yorick is plastered across every pixel of space on the client with skin-themed events and a full set of Summoner Icons in honor of Yorick. And just because, in the months after, Yorick should get three or four 975 or 720-level skins to make up for it as well.

And anyone who mains or plays a lot of Yorick should get it for free, as recompense for the 6 year gap. I don't know how this will be done, but it needs to. To prevent abuse, make it only eligible on release so that people don't just spam him after to get the skin. Like the reward borders for PROJECT skins.

This skin had better be the magnus opus of Riot design and outclass any ultimate thus far.

(I don't play Yorick, so I wouldn't even stand to gain from this idea, just to point that out if anyone was wondering)

I will literally be fuming if Riot just slaps together a 750 RP Yorick skin and calls it a job well done. It doesn't need to be ultimate, hell I don't care if it's even legendary. It just better be a clean as f*** 1350 at least to justify the 6 YEAR WAIT.

Speaking from a realistic perspective, that will probably never happen. With the exception of Udyr, all of the other ultimate skins have been made for highly played champions. Yorick has like maybe a 2% play rate across all elos. The ultimate skin is probably going to be for a champion that has been neglected but still has a decent play rate so that Riot can profit greatly from it.

i swear to god, if they make a Yorick skin that is less than 1850 RP, or even worse less than 1350 RP i'm going to be seriously disappointed with Riot.

I actually do play some good amount of yorick.

I'm still up for scientist yorick voiced by Justin Roiland.

Basically: his passive now summons meseeks out of portals. His q smashes a random object one might findin a garage or dumpyard, like a rake, a rusty pipe, a weedwacker, and the like. His w summons a portal which opens up into a different world every time with a different colour schemes and designs (maybe like 15 different versions),like maybe one is trees and another is broken glass or something. His e is a chemical launcher, basically a gun that shoots syringes full of his range liquid. His ult should summon a yellow maiden with a brown head, which chould also be voiced by Justin Roiland.

Most importantly, make him EXTREMELY nihilistic. Like, I don't care who dies as long as I get what I want kind of nihilism.

ultimate skins are for popular champs. yorick will never get one. that's too much money spent on making a skin no one will buy. the next ultimate skin will no doubt be for a top laner who's actually popular, like renekton nasus or jayce

I would expect his first new skin to be 1350. going from 0 skins to a legendary or ultimate immediately would be kinda ridiculous.

Due to Yorick's Maiden and ghouls, he is litteraly incapable of getting a skin below 1350 RP.

I vote for either Battlecast or Snowday.

I don't think there will be an Ultimate skin this year. With how late Elementalist Lux hit after DJ Sona, I'm thinking the next Ultimate skin would be around May of next year.

As for whom the next Ultimate would go to...

I don't play the champion, but Zed feels about right. We've seen a Mage, Marksmen, Jungler and Support so far so the only things left are Tanks and Assassins. I can't think of any flagship Tanks, but Zed certainly stands out as a high profile Assassin for League of Legends. I suppose this could also go to Katarina or LeBlanc, but Zed is feeling more like a hunch due to him not having a skin since Project in 2015.

I don't think the first new skin Yorick gets after 6 years will be an Ultimate. That'd be like pain for people that really want a skin on him, or people that don't even want it. Ultimates so far have been older champions, yes, but they have still been fairly well played over the years in the game. So I don't see it happening for him.

No, shoudl nto be free to level 5 mastery players, anyone can get level 5 even bylosing every game, give him a skin and make it fre to level 6-7 players.
