I know I'm pretty much beating a dead horse by now, but with us reaching early 2016 (his last promised release period) I was wondering if we could get an update as to how his development is going along. Have you guys gotten over the technological and thematic issues you were experiencing back in 2014?

TzQGRUST393 votesI'm pretty sure he isn't coming out this year, or even next year. He's in the coldest Ice Box there is until we are directly told otherwise. Honestly, he'll probably get "Omen'd". And even more honestly, Ao Shin can never be cool enough as a champion to match the hype the community has created for him. But you never know, Riot may have started working on him already and been purposely misleading us to keep it under wraps. As cool as that would be, I doubt it's possible.

Omen was completely scrapped because his whole thematic was considered lame and not unique enough(I mean whats unique about him?His grin?
The fact that he walks on 4 legs?
His spikes?

Ao shin however does have a unique thematic with him being an asian dragon and a storm-themed champ,so there is no reason to fully scrap him.
In the wort case scenario he'd be Priscilla'd in that he'll be scrapped but another asian dragon is made instead.
