I was looking at Leblanc and Karma, two champions I love thematically and was wondering what this weird parallel was? What the hell are these?
Like seriously what is this weird make-up/tear drop thing that Karma and Leblanc have and why do they both have it specifically? Is it a lore thing? I mean they ARE both leaders in their countries I suppose.
Was it just a random design choice? I'm legitimately confused.
I'm most likely grasping at straws, but the makeup may have something to do with the fact they're both able to "see" things a lot differently than other people.
LeBlanc is a trickster, who deceives others and manipulates them to get what she wants (as far as we know anyways, she's still a little bit of a mystery lore wise). She sees and knows more than what other people see.
Karma is Enlightened, she "sees" two paths and makes another in between, she sees not only two paths but many branching ones.
Of course this is all speculation but ya'know.
A simple design choice, most likely it doesn't have any particular meaning. It might be nice though if Riot could come out with some fun theory about it.
It makes them look hotter.
Perhaps a reference to the Eye of Horus?
