Kindred potentially the new MOST POWERFUL being on Runeterra lore-wise?

Okay so. to keep it short they look like spirits of death. And apparently they hunt down basically anyone. (We don't have much lore yet to work with)

But what we can get from what we have is that: • They are powerful • They are VERY OLD • They are bron from "something" that already looked powerful

I do not now HOW MUCh poweerful they could be. But i'd say they could be the strongest ever "Lore wise". If Xerath is usually depicted as the strongest, they could be in a run for the first spot.

(Even then i think things like Aatrox or Brand could be the strongest)

I think you meant Jax

They really seem to be something eternal, but if they are unbeatable is another question.

Also how would you see brand as one of the strongest?sure he has awesome fire magic, but his lore is pretty much about how he lost against garen and lux(and it doesn't even sound like it was much of an intense fight)

Potentially, Kindred sits on the same tier with Bard and Xerath. We must wait for their lore.

There's no question to that. Kindred is. Literally the grim reaper of Runeterra and I'd imagine there's no way to beat it.......unless you come back to life through necromancy or have been revived whole through re-emergence. I would say that only other beings like Bard couldn't be touch by Kindred.

You have to realize that kindred is death BUT unlike our world Runeterria has ways to thwart the main aspect of death. Death is only "scary" because it removes you from this world and into the unknown but in Runeterria this doesn't always happen. Take Karthus and Amumu for example. Both of them have met kindred (Karthus arguably hasnt even done that since he gave up his life willingly at the shadow isles) yet they continue to persist. Kindred really doesn't affect them anymore. Throw in the fact there are other champions like Bard and Xerath who are immortal and Kindreds power level continues to drop.

Now if you argue that "destroying" these people IS "death" then possibly yes. But I don't view destroying and death as the same so I don't believe Kindred has power over just these few examples of champions (there are even more who fit this category).

TL;DR Undead and immortal champs are immune to kindred because they don't die, they're destroyed.

We have no clue. The speculation is that they used to be the grim reaper.

But its unknown if they lost their power when he split himself in two. They could be in a state like Soraka is.

I'm going to group these sort of characters and name them Eternals, and I'm also going to mention other things to identify them individually.

Eternals: Deities, spirits; forces of the cosmos.

Most likely Eternals:

  • Bard - seraph
  • Soraka - mortal seraph (banished)
  • Kayle - angel
  • Morgana - angel (banished)
  • Shaco - demon
  • Tahm Kench - demon
  • Nocturne? - demon?
  • Kindred - ???

Exceptions of falsehood:

  • Zilean - transcended Time and seems to be one with it.
  • Azir - the ritual of Ascension.
  • Nasus - the ritual of Ascension.
  • Renekton - the ritual of Ascension.
  • Xerath - the ritual of Ascension.
  • Lissandra - ???

Other possible characters:

  • Anivia? - a revered character with animal appearance like Kindred.
  • Malphite? - what is the Monolith?
  • Rammus? - OK.

The thing that spoke to Malhazar is yet to be revealed! (or what that Vel'Koz?) :O

Overall we need to know how and when people encounter kindred and what kindred actually does. Kindred seems to be death itself, but can and does kindred cause the death? I mean if i get stabbed by someone, was I actually killed by kindred(as in "they sealed my fate" or something along the lines) or the person who stabbed me?Or does kindred hunt those who have escaped death somehow?

Well, if you listen to the dialogue.

They are older than: "Basically everything."

Any thing that has, or will die will meet them.

They cannot die.

Everyone/thing in some way or another knows them

Possess some form of omniscience and know where the person meant to die soon is at at all times, and who/what they are and their overall life.

Will apparently live for forever.

It's safe to say they are indeed as strong, or stronger than Gods, is indeed Death and likely the strongest entity of LoL,

Wolf: "No match for us!"

Lamb: "Few are, dear Wolf."

I think they're true immortals that means they're impossible to kill but I don't think they can kill everything they want. Even they say there are some matches for them, there can be entities can be equal to them.

As I remember a rioter said there will be no %100 omnipotient entity in lore.

If they could kill everything they want there wouldn't be a place that called as Shadow Isles because they were unwelcomed in here, they're probably biased against them but this place is still there.

I think indeed kindred is the strongest being lore wise. Kindred represents the two sides to death. Lamb being the peaceful acceptance of death and wolf being the inevitable end for those who try to run from death. Alot of people say that there are some champs that have tricked or escaped kindred but kindred says that this isn't true. Kindred says all things have and end that means ALL things including those who have "escaped it". Like for example karthus. Kindred says that karthus is only delaying the inevitable. Kindred says that karthus will eventually meet kindred but instead of lambs peaceful arrow he will meet kindred with wolfs teeth at his neck. Same with the shadow isle champions. Those champions probably fear kindred to some degree seeing as they will eventually be killed or in a better sense of the term, cease to exist. And when that happens they will meet a violent and terrible end because kindred says all that run from them will be faced by wolf. So kindred does reap everything! No matter if they think they tricked or escaped death or came back like sion and amumu. Kindred looks upon champions like sion, karthus, and the shadow isle champions as abominations just prolonging the inevitable grasp of death. There is even some dialogue that supports that kindred will eventually reap themselves so what I think is kindred will reap until the end of times and when there is nothing left kindred will reap themselves. Though I do believe there are some champs that won't be reaped due to their respective existence. These champs would be bard and aatrox. Bard because he is a celestial being but wolf does say pop the balloon so bard may be able to be reaped. And then aatrox because he is more of a manifestation of war rather than a living being. So based on lore, dialogue, and things I've heard rioters say, kindred is indeed death and ALL things will meet her (yes even xerath and jax)making her the most powerful champion lore wise.
