Is the character a woman?
Is she attractive?
Does she have a unique personality?

If you answered yes to all three, you can kiss the uniqueness of that character goodbye and say hello to uniformity. I mean...diversity. That's the word.

In 2013, the first season since Greyjoy’s loud and proud outing, three female champions were released: Jinx, the flat chested, bug-eyed psychopath. Not the sexiest of champions (unless that's your thing), but beloved for her wild personality all the same. Then came Lissandra, a fully functioning fudgepop with what appears to be a Dyson vacuum on her head. And finally Quinn, so unsexy that she is to this day often mistaken for an ugly man.

He gets the order wrong, and attempts to bend it to fit his agenda. If anything, their actual release order goes against this author's theory.

Of course he's trying to rile people up, because people tend to remain silent and never say a thing. But what he's saying is correct even if he made a mistake regarding the release order. He could have said the same thing regardless of that mistake, facts don't change.

I didn't need to read that article tell me what my eyes have been telling me for years. That and what the art team themselves said outright.

Yep, but if it's a man any reasons why they have to be covered up goes down the toilet. Sejuani can't be in a bikini because it's freezing, it makes no nsense! But Braum being from the exact same area? Naw, he can be naked in the freezing cold.

Braum is stated to be from the southern areas of the Freljord, the same as Ashe, where the temperatures are warmer and heavier clothing isn't as necessary. Sejuani is from the colder northern reaches of the Freljord where it's almost constantly snowed over and icy and below freezing.

That's one of the dumbest excuses I've ever heard. Even if that was true and written in the lore, which doesn't exist, it would still make no sense, you can't run around for long naked like Braum does unless it's 20C+. Their excuse for covering up Sej was thinly veiled bullshit, but no one complained because it made sense, it was just exposed as bullshit later.

And now we know for a fact, they've admitted themselves, that the art team are a bunch of SJWs out to stomp anything the sexist pigs (ie anyone but themselves) may like.

Except it was pretty established from the Freljord event that Braum is part of southern Freljord that has a much more temperate climate. If you go back and look at the Braum Reveal interactive page, then you'll see that the story takes place in a mountain valley that is warm where people do farming and herding sheep and goats. Braum is from a warmer part of the Freljord.

All througout the story of Braum you see the villagers wearing tunics with short sleeves or no sleeves at all. Meaning that the temperature of the village must be warm enough to allow things, and if short sleeves and no sleeves are okay, then being shirtless is okay.

Not... really. You have to hit a minimal point somewhere. Just because one thing is okay doesn't mean the next level always is. It'd make just as much sense if I said "so if being shirtless is okay, then going naked is okay."

Braum is a badass, that's why he's shirtless. But in a realistic sense, in the environment he's in, it would not make sense. But this game isn't really realistic, so whatever.

I am satisfied with every single VU Riot has done so far. Most of the people they updated just didn't look for the new Summoner's Rift and the whole modern theme Riot is trying to get from it.
