Why did you ignore Sona?
Why? Her lore doesn't even tell much about her honestly.

Sona's adoptive mother was in the Quinn bio. In which it seems most of her heirs died. So, if that's not a lead-in for something involving Sona, I'd be surprised.
They were bound to leave out a few demacians,I mean during the Bilgewater update they left out 
(and 
,but he isn't counted as a bilgewater champ anymore),during the first shadow isles update they left out

And in the end the ones being left out were

if you count her as a demacian).
Xin was likely left out because he is on the list for a VGU,Lucian was likely left out because he isn't strongly connected to Demacia eitherway and I guess Sona was just the unlucky one this time around(maybe they don't want to update her lore before ionia got its first lore update?)
Fiora and Poppy also didn't get any new lore,but their lore is already up to date,so there was no need for them to get a new lore.
I think its still in the works if you look at quinns lore it briefly mentions The buvelle family heirs being cut down. So in any case they are probably gonna maake sona the next in line cause she probably stayed behind back in demacia and that they thought shes weak cause shes mute.
Why do people think she is Demacian? I always thought she was Ionian.
The only thing I can think of is that she's considered Ionian or that she's getting new lore and she's going to be placed in a new region.

update, they didn't do every Demacian champion
They've never done every single character in Lore Updates. They chose to focus on Champions with more Military ties, save Vayne, but she's pretty violent in her own regard.
Isn't she from Ionia?
