With the bilgewater event being over, I thought if we would get something new about the Darkins, maybe the next champ having something to do with that. So is there anything about the Darkins in sight in the near future?
EDIT: Apparently someone already made a post about Darkins a day ago, but I will still ask maybe for a Rioter to answer.

But alright, just for you: Pretentious, silly, stupid, facepalm-inducing, nauseating....pick one you like, I just went with the one whose meaning most properly conveyed my emotion.

Soo, with the "Juggernaut updates" I'd say the next champion is one (juggernaut), and yes it could be a Darkin.

Darkins are actually weapons. Like the actual weapons. (Aatrox's sword is aatrox.) They find worthy people and slowly turn them into their new host when their current host is nearing it's limit. (Varus and Trynda). Uhhh, what else do you need to know?

Um what. Next champ is named Rah'Tuul. (Unless pushed back like Dragon) He's an ADC and is the one who gave Varus his bow. This isn't mentioned in a video that's a year old? Also he never says anything about the Darkins being the actual weapons.. D-did you read my comment?

In the Darkin video he says (at 2:25) that th Darkins may actually be spirits living inside the weapons and possessing the wielders of those weapons.

AirSonance2 votesYou realize his lore was never tied to the League or the Institute, right? He's a being who shows up and turns the tides of war simply by showing up and choosing a side. No mention of the no longer cannon world. Sure, Riot could change it, but it's fine as is.
