Harbinger Kassadin Captain Gangplank, I only say this because I really want to use his current base skin, but I don't want people thinking I'm a pleb. Phantom Karthus

Captain Fortune as base skin would have been pretty cool, imo.

Well Captain Gangplank WAS Gangplanks classic skin for a certain time... There was a story development that changed gangplank and thus his classic skin was also changed,so I think it is fitting that he doesn't use it anymore.
