Loping Cinder dropping a hint as to Brands new lore dirrection in Bards Q&A?

Bard is not omnipotent, as a spirit he can be banished, powerful magics could potentially imprison him, and a force of equal power could possibly end him.

With the retcon of the IoW and by proxy the Rune Wars, Brand is one of the champs left in the 'Lore Retcon Void'. Being an [alluded to] unwanted causality in the chaos from uninhibited and unrestricted rune warfare of times before the creation of the Institute of War. Which the IoW was created to prevent more rune war catastrophes.

Who better to do the lore retcon of Brand than someone named Loping Cinder! "Powerful magics could potentially imprison him" is oddly very specific, as Brand is an elemental spirit that was imprisoned in a cage of True Ice. Perhaps Malphite and Brands new lores will have them be akin to the Bards and Sorakas. Bard is the sprinkly spirit that inhabits that ball of hair wielding a flute, Brand is a fiery spirit that inhabits the body of Kegan Rodhe. Sorakas original form could have been one of sprinkles as well but her punishment for turning a serial killer chemist into a werewolf (to you know, help with the murdering..?) was to be banished from the celestial club and her mortal form is that of her current unicorn self.

Perhaps these celestial spirits that Bard and Soraka come from not only possess benevolent spirits but also malevolent (Brand) and neutral (Malphite) spirits as well?

Thoughts?

When Brand is revisited, I, along with other writers, will be involved.

For Transparency: I lead a small team that develops and updates champions.

I love reading these creative posts. While I can't provide spoilers, we're not in the habit of making characters without weaknesses. Glean what you will from this story logic; it's true for Bard.

PS - Lissandra is one of my favorite champs (even if she has a weird ponytail).

As a note, as it currently stands Soraka didn't transform Warwick. He tricked her in to becoming mortal but she managed to ward him off, and his transformation was a result of the incomplete alchemical potion that Singed had devised that required the heart of someone like Soraka to work properly.

I'm not sure if the Ice cage he was put in was True Ice, although it really does fit the bill. I guess the Frostguard had access to that level of magic. Unless, you know, they were Ice Born...

Which is semi-implied.

And I'd be like "whaaaaaaat".
