His arms are huge, his feet are huge, his hair looks terrible, his face is.... I don't even know how to describe that. Time Beard needs some love.
Also I always thought his head kinda looked like Broccoli. Anyone else see that?
Sadly Riot no longer wants to do many of these over the major overhauls like Poppy, Karma, Sion etc.
We're gonna see fewer this year they said because they're focusing on Taric and Yorick, and perhaps someone as well. (I think it's Swain but I don't think they've started working on him at all yet.)
That being said, Zilean needs a VU pretty badly, even if it's just like the small upgrades like you said.
I personally think Riot may want to change his overall look though, that may be a possibility.
I disagree (for the jokes sake). He is an old Champion (not by release date but by age), so letting him look old might not even be a bad Thing :P
I never realized how weird it looked lol and I like zilean. Now i wont be able to stop thinking of broccoli while playing him. Ty XD

Have you noticed how his beard acts in some of his emotes? it just floats up randomly and he doesn't even touch it

Yeah he really needs an update. Though I dunno if his kit shouldn't be updated as well. I mean yes riot did some tweaks to it,but I still think it feels a bit outdated.
That would help, but he definitely needs a Poppy scale VGU to be complete
