i think based on lore i think ezreal wins the title. he is the main character of league of legends. actual hero. garen and lux has potential to be the main character as well. but ezreal has more interesting story. other side i see zed and darius more of a anti hero type of character. swain is definetly anti villan like magneto. far as main villan. i can see mordekaiser as the main villan. jhin also could be a side villan. whats your opinion

Targon is trying to save Runeterra from the Void menace, which is pretty much the absolute final enemy. So is Lissandra, Kassadin, Kai'Sa and Jax among others.

The world runes are literally able to destroy and reshape all of runeterra and ryze's one mission is to keep them safe from evil, and hes been alive for a long time doing nothing but this one quest. Now try to tell me hes not the MAIN protagonist.

Now try to tell me how does it make them any less important than Ryze. It doesn't, because every champion are equally important. If the relevancy of a champion was just about how well they can defend the world from a threat, then half of the roster would be considered as a main character. Every champion is the main character.

First of all, isnt Targon a region? How can the entire region be the main characters. But idk, in my eyes i think ryze just fits the main character format better than these people because hes more of a part of runeterra than they are. They live in Targon and kaisa and kass live in the void, ryze is the only one that travels all around runeterra for his quest. I mean this is not a great defending argument for my point but its just the thoughts i have towards ryze and these other people.

Idk, to me ryze just embodies what runeterra is, and how im looking at this is who i would want to pick for a story based rpg in runeterra and that would be ryze because you have so much freedom with his lore, he goes all over, his quest is to keep runeterra safe like theres just so much room for story telling there. But idk, maybe its just my opinion

Taric the Gay1 votesI agree. It's definitely Ezreal. His occupationa as a prodigal explorer puts him in a prime spot to have the narrative directed from his perspective. He travels the lands and brushed shoulders with so many different champions across all of Runterra. You can write up why he knows Xerath, Teemo, Ashe, Draven, Yorick and Fizz in a believable fashion. He travels the world and meets everyone else on their home turf. So yes, Ezreal would have to be the main character of the story.
