Who created Aurelion Sol?

Who created the realm in which he creates the stars?

From what we have, I think the Void is just another plane of existence where the horrors we know are born.

So it's really unlikely that Aurelion Sol created it.

I think Taliyahs quote solely refers to Cho'Gath's "You are the scourge upon the world." And I don't think they're older than A.Sol, but that's just because I don't get the feeling of "Outer God" I would expect from something that is older than the universe.

I think the lol universe page for the void says that voidlings were used as weapons in a war, so they were created, but the void probably already existed. It is another dimension

It was said that Aurelion was created with the first breath of creation, which likely means that he is at least as old as the void itself(unless the void predates creation itself)

On the Universe page it says that the Void "where terrifying living weapons were wrought to win an ancient and long-since ended war." This makes me think of either the first Rune war or some extremely ancient war that possibly predates Runeterra itself. I'm not sure how far Riot is ever going to go into the creation of the universe itself and what not, and there always has to be some mystery around the ultra fantastical elements of the game (for example, I think it saying Aurelion existed since the first breath of creation is good enough) but I actually have a different theory about the Void.

I think the Void itself has always existed, like a plot of land with nothing on it. Maybe the physics of it's dimension are a little wonky and can bend things in ways other known realities do not. The reason I say this is because, as we know from the Targon lore, the smaller and less powerful voidlings begin to burn instantly the second they come into Runeterra. Additionally, it says that those who enter the void are likely to be spun into infinite creation. However, I think that while the empty plot of land (if you will) has always existed, the creatures there were planted.

We're already talking about the Void as dimension and it says no one really knows how the Void came into creation, but if it was created during the Rune Wars Ryze would know. From this I think I can rule out the Rune Wars as the point the Void began to be, I think that ANOTHER dimension we will likely never see in the game was in a desperate war with something terrifying and created the Voidlings as a way to fight back, kind of like in Game of Thrones where the Children of the Forest created the Night King to fight the humans off because there was no way they could win. What were they fighting against? In my opinion the Darkin suit the bill better than anything else.

Rioters have said on the forums before that the Darkin "invaded" Runeterra long ago but we've never really got any expansion on that since. They are pretty one minded creatures (at least out of the 2 we have seen, Varus's bow is one too but he doesn't have VO) in that they only want to destroy the world. If they invaded from somewhere else long ago, that makes me think that they go from dimension to dimension causing the apocalypse and subsequent destruction of that reality before moving on to a new fledgling universe. Upon arriving at Runeterra it sounds like the Darkin were too overzealous. Kayn has a line when recalling where Rhaast says "No, stay, fight!" And Kayn says "Did such foolishness lead to your imprisonment?" Which strikes me as the Darkin were too set on destroying the world that they were imprisoned into weapons that were locked away for thousands and thousands of years. Of course, Aatrox has taken his host, Varus's bow seems to have a symbiotic relationship with him because they both want vengeance, and we can assume Kayn will eventually lose just because of how powerful the Darkin are. There are two others we don't know about but it's safe to assume they will probably be fully free and taken possession of their hosts by the time we see them released, I doubt they'll ever do another character like Kayn again. So the Darkin are probably gearing up to destroy Runeterra, and I really hope we see that story eventually.

Anyways, that's kinda an off topic rant though. At the end of the day we don't have any concrete Rioter canon on where the Void came from and how long it's been around. I definitely think that, like Bard and Aurelion, it does have its own gods who likely want to see other worlds consumed and fused with their own, but the Void champions we currently have in the game are definitely just some of the many weapons used to fight the ancient war.

As far as the two remaining darkin, it be cool to see one both ways. One that is controlled by the darkin and on that is free of it.

As far as the old lore mentions, the Void is a dimension without time, so... technically speaking, yeah, they existed before time itslef (And Sol). But that is old lore.

I seriously doubt Aurelion Sol created the Void. Sol creates objects in space, but he does not create space itself.
