In all her splash arts, Poppy has a soft face that has really round features. In-game, Poppy looks like she's from Russia or something, and has a very, very angular face with a very sharp chin.
I know it will never change (as much as I'd like it to), but why does she look so angry in-game, while she looks so nice in her splash arts?
I mean do you want a nice poppy model or do you want the game to run?
Well, considering she's all set for battles against 5 other champions alongside with another 4 to fight with her, why wouldn't she have an angry battle face on? Not like she's going to a photo shoot and preparing to pose for Teens magazine.
Also, Noxus, Battle Regalia, Blacksmith, and Scarlet Hammer Splash art doesn't show her being happy.
Splashes are a lot easier than 3D models, that's why. But Riot is getting better. In future updates she'll probably have more similar features to her splash.
