So are the corrupted Star Guardians corrupted from the Dark Star??

Alot of people I know are saying the Zoe, Xayah and Rakan SG look alot like a Dark Star due to having main give aways to what a Dark Star's appearance is even if they are a corrupted being (Like Rhaast/Kayn or Jhin) They contain features of the Dark Star

Main Dark Stars (Stuff that didnt corrupt a entity Kha, Cho, Thresh, etc): Lots of purple and dark colors, black hole somewhere on body or weapon, and some can have a 4 pointed star like Dark Cosmic Jhin's face when he has his forth shot and has his mask off and Kha'Zix

Rhaast: Dark colors with the black armor and purple somewhere on the body, Black hole, faceless, and containing stuff from the universe with the golden Ora

Jhin: Dark pants and arms, Purple all around body, Black hole gun and shoulder piece, faceless head, 4 pointed star

Now looking at the SG Rakan, Zoe and Xayah

Zoe, Xayah, Rakan: Dark purples and black, 4 pointed star on her eye and her familiar, and ofcourse has Star Guardian features

Unless its a coincidence maybe these Star Guardians are corrupted by the Dark Star in some sense. You can even see Xayah fix her corruption when she touches her gem so maybe the SG magic repels the corruption slightly?

Are Dark Star/Cosmic and Star Guardian in the same universe? Nope.

Is it possible? Probably, but not likely.

I believe the only way the Dark Star could have gotten to that universe is if a gate were opened, like with what happened with Rhaast(who is a Dark Star entity) in the Odyssey universe.

When someone is corrupted by the Dark Star, I believe 2 things can happen. They can become a Dark Star entity, an all consuming entity of nothingness, a failed corruptant. Or, they could become a Dark Cosmic, a pure corruptant. They could also just cease to exist entirely.

The corruption of the Star Guardians is likely tied to their gems, not the Dark Star. If they lose their gems, or they get damaged, they become corrupted. That's why when Rakan gives Xayah his gem, he goes completely dark while she becomes whole again and turns green(green is the color of Rakan's gem).

Dark Star isn't in the same universe as Star Guardian. I guess they could change their minds, but as we know it currently, they aren't in the same skin universe. Dark Star is the enemy of the Cosmic/Odyssey skin lines.

Supposedly they're not even in the same universe which is a real shame. You would think the Dark Star and the First Star would be natural enemies. Maybe some day Riot will have enough sense to merge the two.

I do find it suspicious that Sg Ds and Cats vs Dogs share a similar star theme both in design and their effects.
