I remember a while ago you mentioned that Summoners do have a role to play in the League universe and there hasn't been any mention of them by far.
Did you just throw them aside or are they actually important somehow?
The Summoners of the Institute of War and the League of legend are not canon anymore

Likely in Ithaca or whatever it is called opening/stabilizing portals to allow more void beasts in. Or something fucked up like that.

I was always under the impression that the summoners were still canon, just all of valoran (and it's numerous universes where the champions exist) were unaware of their existence.
