So when Cho'Gath gets his inevitable VU...

... Can we not remove the voice lines he has that specifically reference the player?

Obviously mentions of Summoners need to go, but part of the reason Cho's VO is so good is because he talks directly to the person playing him. It makes you uneasy while playing him and does a lot to further his aura of menace. I wouldn't doubt that Cho'Gath would know if he's being controlled by an external source anyways, given that he's an eldritch monstrosity, so there's no lore conflict there.

Replacing Cho's lines that directly refer to the player would almost assuredly cheapen his character and make playing him a lot less fun.

While I understand your point I really doubt that this will happen. It just clashes too hard with the rest of the VOs.

He's described as pretty intelligent so I don't think he is controlled.

What voice lines make him feel menacing to you?

Reference to player = reference to summoner.

There could be a character that breaks the 4th wall - but it sure must not be Cho.

All I all, in his rework he'll probably become something in between of void general and void king. It would be lame to leave him as controlled being. It also would be better to replace "space" of these lines with lines that more emphasize his Character
