He found this stone thing in Shurima, which is arguably Greek in Runeterra.
Now let's compare his lore, this stone made Ezreal easily able to use all this magic.
The Philosopher's Stone does pretty much the same thing for it's user. To note: Ezreal use to be able to heal teammates.

There's Targon which is supposed to be the Greek area in League. Not a lot is going on there unfortunately unless you want to talk about Diana and Leona some more.
