Ok so... It's been nearly 4 years and still nothing

I tried to search informations about it but couldn't find them so don't hate me if it's been said that it won't appear ever in the game. Riot said that there would be a ton of dialogues for the Shopkeepers, after 3 years we still have nothing. I really don't know what keeps them off from this and I am greatly upset about it because I am waiting and waiting and no information. I really hope they are working on it and didn't give up on this idea. It especially triggers me when I am playing on the Howling Abyss - map older than SR but still has the dialogues :/

This is purely from memory and thus I could be wrong, but I think I recall one Red saying that they decided against it. I believe the main reasoning was there were gameplay concerns of how that would add to sound clutter, not be important, annoying because of how often you back, etc. It works in Howling Abyss because ARAM is a more fun mode and less competitive, and you only ever shop if you die.

I am disappointed that they never found a happy medium, like maybe just a line every now and then, but I understand the reasons behind it. Again, I'm not 100% sure this is exactly what Riot has said, but I think it is. I will do a few Google searches and edit this post with the link if I find anything.

Edit: This is literally the best I could find. And it's not even in English >.>. Zenon is a dev at Riot HQ now (main gameplay designer of Azir) but take his lore bits with a grain of salt.

Having "A Yordle? Yuck!" or "What are you buying? What are you selling?" play every time I open the shop, even if I'm in the middle of lane, is a bad enough experience. I'm personally glad they don't have dialog on SR, it gets so old so fast on ARAM.
