Riot, are you willing to respect the core themes of (pre-retcon) Runeterra?

As much as I don't like the idea of Runeterra being re-written,** if it has to be done, it should be done quickly (like removing a band-aid.) **

It hasn't been done this way. Riot, has been seemingly unprepared, and this retcon has already taken months longer than it should have.

Runeterra's lore still hasn't stabilized. - What is Jax's Story? (just one example)

For some reason, it feels like it is being drawn out far longer than it should, with Runeterra's lore being re-written as it is convenient, without any kind of planned direction for it. This is why LoL's recent lore has felt weak.

Riot, we know that you try to retain the core traits of the characters within Runeterra as you retcon them, but what of the world they reside in?

It really feels like you don't care about some of the most defining characteristics of pre-retcon Runeterra...such as the Institute of War and the League of Legends

Why don't you show respect to the lore of your own game?!?!?!?!?! If you want to get rid of the IoW, do it through lore.

**Writing it out of existence by saying it never existed within the new lore is just a lazy cop-out. **

Riot, do you seem unable/unwilling to respect Runeterra's core themes iin your retcon of its world?

They don't even respect their old characters. They're entirely willing to change them entirely, keeping only some traits intact but not even necessarily the most defining ones, if it fits their new lore better. Trundle is the example here. I've no faith in the narrative department. They have been shown to be willing to just bluntly retcon and replace a character and could do this at any point in time.

Edit: I sound a bit aggressive here, apologies for that. It's nothing personal, it's aimed at the lore department as an entity.
