Clarification about Visions of the Shadow Isles.

So for each region page (except Targon, Noxus, Void & Bandle) under the Universe tab there is a section called "Visions Of" their purpose is to visually show areas of significance to a specific region. My personal favorite is Visions of Zaun, especially the one depicting the Collage of Techmaturgy as I love how it's towers poke out into Piltover.

But it's my second favorite that has perked my interest. See unlike the others, Visions of the Shadow Isles seems to be depicting a small narrative. But what exactly are the connotations behind these images or the story? I have been to the Wiki with no success and as far as I'm aware there's no reference or insight to these images within the lore of any associated champs. So either I've missed the discussion over this or it has yet to be fully explained. Either way I would appreciate some clarification and an explanation to its possible significance?

If there really isnt any official clarification, I'm willing to hear out possible theories instead.

Overall I think the less shadowy pictures might show the shadow isles before the fall(or might simply lie underground and not look that corrupted). They could be the place where they gathered their magical artifacts(that were guarded by thresh)

What I find interesting is that the second picture talks about the Sentinels and we can see different pictures on the walls. One of these pictures actually looks a bit like the shadow isles crest(the one on the right side of the stairs) and overall these sentinels all seem to have only one eye,so maybe there is a connection between them and the watchrs?Or Vel'kozs species?

Yup, it is pretty strange. And in all region they only showed present artwork.

So yeah, knowing what we have, we can speculate that this is the past. I hope it's not and they have some pretty dope thing in store.

And if you look at "The Celetial Vault", everything around is destroyed, which means it must be post-destruction. A new order appeared on the Shadow Isles maybe ?

The mostly tell a bit about the places that once were on the Blessed Isles, places of deep magical energy. The way they are said in the Universe page just adds a bit of info about the place.
