Question about Corki's visuals

With the release of mechs and minions we have several champions showing up in there, one of them is Corki but I couldn't help but notice that his visuals seems to be... uh... right but wrong?

I have a hard time putting this into words because it's mostly conjectures but I was under the impression that Riot was trying to normalize yordles and more specifically, move Corki towards the furry yordles visuals, this can be seen on his UFO splash art where his nose is animal like as opposed to human like, even on his classic splash art, there's this middle ground between animal and human nose , like maybe he has a big nose but it's still diamond like in shape and nowhere as human as it looks here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/mechs-vs-minions

Now what worries me is that mechs and minions is a game that has been in development for three years, I doubt the yordles were used as characters from the get go but I think that at some point Tristana and Heimer appeared in there on their old visual iteration, considering their VGUs happened barely a year or two ago, they must have had to redo or rethink some visuals for the game, luckily, Heim and Trist made it in time so they could be updated but that's not the case for my beloved Corki...

My question to Riot is, will Mechs and minions lock Corki's visuals forever? :( there's a bunch of paraphernalia associated with Corki's current look now and I can't help but worry that it becomes such an undertaking to update it all that you guys simply refrain from reworking him, not like he's anywhere high on the list but eventually he should be due... but because of the game he's probably pushed even further back and it saddens me.

I always joke that the longer it takes Riot to update Corki, the better, because it'll give me time to get hired by them and work on Corki myself haha but man... I do want to see my favorite champion looking all shiny as soon as possible either way :S

Not to mention that in this video: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/mechs-vs-minions#tutorial Corki's voice and accent is... odd? for a moment I thought it was Kled but then I realized that Kled is not part of the game... since when Corki has a southern accent? It's not that it's a bad thing but it all points towards Corki being... well... a mess, there isn't a clear direction for Corki which is normal since he's one of the original 40 but then, why would you use him specifically for mechs and minions?

As the future artist for Corki (xD) I'm displeased :(
