You know, I can just feel/predict that Prestige K/DA Akali is going to go the same way as Kai'Sa

Orbs? Check. Tokens? Check. Golden chromas and loading borders for other skins? Check! All that's left is a fucking pass and a ludicrous amount of tokens to unlock and history will then repeat...in just over a month.

Basically I'm making this post in some regards to the recent front page post (https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/INAgqmxA-riot-your-worlds-pass-survey-i-want-to-reiterate-the-grind-was-awful), but this has also been on my mind since I saw the teaser for it. I just didn't feel it was the right time as everyone was talking about the new champ and bickering on her sexuality. But since that's died down a bit, I'd figure now I should put my opinion on this.

Now, I was not happy with the world pass. It felt like a grind trying to get what little tokens I could without purchases and with Riot secretly nerfing the values sometime after they launched, it didn't make things better. It should of just been a thing you could of done from the start for free, for everyone. I mainly wanted to try and get tokens for Shyvana and Kalista, because Shyv is my main and god knows Kalista needs something new in the skins department.

But at the same time, when Halloween came around (which should just be the Harrowing at all times, but regardless is just overshadowed by Worlds), I eventually just had to give in into buying loot boxes and tokens because the grind was too much for me in this shit season and I wanted to get the chroma and border for Kled, cause I like him. And by the time K/DA Kai'Sa came around, I had to spend more money just to get the appropriate amount of tokens (which is fucking bullshit btw with everything else I wanted to get). And I now hate that I had to spend as much as I did to get this skin, but had to because I like rare, collectable things.

But after that, taking such a huge blow to my wallet (which I'm already blowing out more with Warhammer here in England since it's cheaper) and basically forcing me to start heavily budgeting for the rest of my time here, Riot is now promoting the next Prestige skin for our Snowdown event, along with more of the same bullshit we just put up with. Seriously?

Two problems with this:

1. It's coming close to Christmas/holidays. People are going to be away from their computers more to spend time with their families. I know I am since I've been away from my family for almost 3 months now. They're not going to be focused on grinding out the game for tokens and if they are wanting something, like maybe one of the loading borders or gold chromas or at worst the new skin, they are just not going to have the time (unless they absolutely hate their family and want to be away from them). At best, they may feel just the spend the money and unlock all the stuff they want so then they can get back with their families, but this leads to the second problem...

2. Those who've already spent a shit ton of money during Worlds (such as my idiotic self) won't be wanting to throw down more money again after such a short period! Like I said, I've spent way too much during worlds to get the Kai'Sa skin so the idea that I might have to do this again to get the Akali skin is really turning me off. And that's just if I want to get the skin, not even counting all the other items that I may want to get with those tokens. I'm sure many other people feel the same!

So in short: Many people may not want to have to grind for tokens, nor can they grind for tokens because it's the holidays and they will want to be with their families, and many other of those same people or different will probably not want to spend straight money on the loot boxes to get the tokens because they already wasted it during worlds or they don't want to keep feeding your greed/shady business practice you're forming with this. I'm getting sick of how you're handling these golden chromas and some of these loading borders as well as these new limited skins you're making.

I don't want these to be mindless grinds against the clock to unlock what I want, nor do I want to keep spending a fortune to get these things. I like the golden chromas and loading borders but I'm sick of shelling out money to get them. And God help me if I have to max my credit card to get that Akali skin because when that happens, I'm just becoming super lenient with my money and Riot.
