Does anyone else think the new borders look . . . worse?
Perhaps I'm having a status quo bias, but I really like our current borders. They aren't covered in "tacky" things, giving them a clean and professional feel. However, these new borders, especially the last three, look like someone at Riot just stuck spikes on them in an effort to differentiate them from the others.
As for the other borders, they just don't look nice enough. I don't know where exactly to put my finger on it, but it could be that they aren't very shiny at all, which is weird considering the material they're supposed to be made with.
I also don't like how skinny the borders are. It kind of takes away from the accomplished feeling a border should convey. Imagine getting the highest rank in a game but the border is actually horrid to look at? Would it even feel worth for all the PAIN AND SUFFERING you went through to get it?
