Just my thoughts on the idea of the progression of lore. I don't see why a champion can't have multiple pages of lore upgrading with an event or a release of a new champion that could affect a champions lore. I.e Vi's lore would have "updated" with a new page or paragraph with the release of Jinx.
There is probably a glaringly obvious problem with this but it would be cool to hear some ideas on this.
P.S I feel really starved for new lore...
They said that they actually want to do this(which is why they want to seperate the ingame-client lore and the one on the official page,because the ingame client doesn't support multiple lores at once).
However I guess they are currently too busy retconning stuff,so I wouldn't expect any progression until the retcon is finished.
I mean, they must realize that a story comprises of more than just a beginning, and that every plotline they start needs closure... right?
I have always wanted the lore to actually connect. The way the lore is now, everyone is so seperate and often champions appear to be 'after the thought' pasted in.
That is a wonderful idea! I feel like a lot of the lore pages were just kind of thrown together at the last second. As far as I have heard, the lore department at Riot is a pretty big joke.

I hope this is what Riot plans on doing; it would be really cool to essentially read a short story/book on the happenings of a favorite champion. You can see where they began to the present/future/whatever; hell even excerpts from the champion's past.
My favorite champion is Volibear, I only started playing League because of Volibear. It would be cool to see his role in the Ursine society and how he talks politics with Sejuani or Ashe. Honestly I am very starved for more of the Frejlord story!
Stories can't complete according to Riot, not in a continuing game like LoL. Can't just start an entirely new storyline with a character apparently. Ask Trundle, he got retconned out in favor of a new character that fit their never-ending Freljord story better.
