I was expecting to see comment on this in the champion roadmap but haven't seen anything. I would really like to hear something about it and if there are plans for me because I really enjoyed the update. Jax, Kennen, Blitz. Honestly, VFX updates are nice but they're kinda sweeping the bigger issues under a rug.
Its something we are still open to do in the future, though we don't currently have any projects like that in development
Champions that need some levels of visual update to be on part with newest champions/update champions , and/or need a visual update so that they match their lore appearances.
So yeah Riot, you aint even close at finishing the job. Some need Full Relaunches, while some need Large Visual Updates, and some need small model tweaks (clothing change).
Some champions that are visually alright need some levels of update (be it voice over, splash arts, or new animation):

Lots of things to update, both small and large when you list it all out which puts things into perspective.

Champs like Fiddle, Mundo, Skarner and such are still high on our list for VGUs. I didn't say we were stopping VGUs, just doing a bit less going forward then we have been doing recently

Add Corki, Kog'Maw, and Cho'Gath to that list. There are still quite a few older champs who need some work.
Ezreal lvl vgu happened because he had one useless and pointless ability. The only other champ I can think of being in the same boat as Ez is Ahri.
Probably should get a small-scale visual upgrade as well. Man’s got scoliosis since his release in s2 pre-season.
I can't remember where I heard it, so take it with a grain of salt, but I think I remember them saying that they didn't have any plans for Ezreal level VgUs in the future.
