Neeko: Am I the only one who finds it strange

that she has a heavy Portuguese accent in her spoken English? I mean sure, why not, and perhaps that's just what we (in the theoretical League of Legends world) equate her accent to, here on Earth. Just seems an odd fit, for some reason. I can imagine her with more of an Asian accent, or maybe Australian??

I honestly don't know for sure why I find it so strange/distracting.

I'm half Brazilian, so it should seem fairly normal to me???

Am I the only one?

Voice Actor is Flora Paulita, in case anyone was wondering.

It's just as strange as Aatrox, a Shuriman (which is the closest to an Egyptian in real life), having a German accent.

VOs in general have been pretty odd recently.

All Vastaya have very american accents, Caitlyn is the only British accent. Kai'Sa apparently is Australian but I can't hear is for some reason. Her accent might be similar to my british accent in reality.

But really just depends on what the developers are going for, what they want to portray in the character.

Accents communicate character in League and almost never regional differences like in our world.

Aatroxs' German makes him sound more brutal Swains' Game of Thrones VO makes him sound more dominant Half of the Ionia cast speak with American accents only the Older half that are more inspired by real world Asia (Yi, Lee Sin, Xin Zhao) have asian accents while the other half are more informed by media (Yasuo, Irelia) and have American accents
