I know that this is probably super low-tier on the "things to fix" list but the comma right after the Supported Game Modes line looks incredibly unprofessional. My guess is that when Clarity and Clairvoyance were removed from Summoner's Rift back in Season 5, their listings were updated but the separating Comma didn't go with it. Please just fix it, it's activating all my OCD alarms at once.

The code for that is in a pretty old system, and there's only a few peeps who worked in that system a few years ago. I verified with the team working on the new client that the issue no longer persists with the update, so we left it for now given the time it would take one of those engineers to stop their work, relearn the old system, find where the problem was, fix it and all that fun stuff just wasn't justifiable given what they're priorities are currently.

And will it include the announced ACTUAL replacement for TeamBuilder? I mean, don't get me wrong, the toxicity in my games went down to zero since I resorted to just occasionally play in custom botgames, but I'd like to return to actually play League of Legends in the foreseeable future again.

Headbiter1 votesWhile this would provide me with enough reason to rant excessively about Riot's policies, which, depending on my mood, may turn out either amusing or cathartic, I have to be fair and state that they did actually announce that "in the future" they will "introduce a version of blind pick inspired by the new design for players who are looking for the new champ select experience without bans or drafting." And to be frank, NCS without bans or drafting is pretty much Teambuilder all over again.

Granted, there's a lot of when and why to be answered here, but quite frankly, between their removal of Dominion and the resounding "meh" that was NCS (which, let's be honest, is nothing but slightly altered draft with a lot of animator-cum splattered over it) if they have any common sense/ don't want to go the way of Gamefailers, they WILL release this mode...
...I'm just hoping it will happen before Microsoft and Sony realize how they fucked up their consoles.

Sharjo2 votesEssentially the old code was made with incredibly small goals and targets in mind, and was also shoddily put together. The reason "Spaghetti Code" is a thing is because of that; you never know just what will break next because of how awfully written the code for the game has consistently been. Thankfully systems have since been rewritten in places but it's not perfect.

It was a super niche audience at the time. The fact that LoL even made it off the ground is surprising. Now it's the #1 video game in the world.
Pretty safe bet the old code was never designed to handle what the game is today. . . . Which is probably why Nidalee always finds a new way to create invisible spears. ;p

It's not so difficult to write working code, but to produce good code you need to be familiar with certain rules and procedures.

I'm stating that they seem to treat balance, user interface, and game features like commas and missing text lines if it seems like too much work or time they aren't going to fix it or they are just gonna remove them. when you're a code monkey this is expected of you. You're not understanding that this is people's jobs to fix or maintain this stuff and they aren't doing their job. This is why Riot is going slash and burn on alot of features and why we're getting less content instead of more.

emordnalip1 votesWell, they might be counting the total range for all three thrown cards. 10,000 units / 3 cards ≈ 3,333 unit range per card. I don't know what the actual distance one unit is in-game, however, so I might be blowing a bunch of hot air. If it is the case, then it is a level of pedantism that does not contribute to clarity.

Edit: Also there's no way that one card travels 3333 units when his ult is 5500 units. Roughly each card travels ~1000 units. If his cards did travel 10k units each he could literally stand in base and spam throw them to somewhere between the enemy inner turret and the enemy nexus turret.
