Amumu: More sinister now?
Nasus and Renekton's lore seems to be changing the lore perception of him. He seemed more pitied before, but now he almost sounds like a fearsome urban legend type of deal. Like Candyman or something.

He is a fearsome urban legend in Shurima,but that doesn't mean he isn't pitiable.
We've got already a leaked version of what is likely gonna be Amumus color text roughly a year ago,in this lore piece a man talked about the story of a grave robber whose hand was touched by amumu. Said touch caused the flesh of the man to decay and it was implied that he only survived by cutting off his arm.
However Amumu didn't want this to happen,he was sorry for it and thats the thing. Amumu can't touch anyone without killing them,he doesn't want to kill them,but it still happens.
Amumu's deal has always been that nobody wants to be friends with him, we just didn't totally know why for a while.
Implied by things like the "Curse Of The Sad Mummy" video, and now outright confirmed, it's because sheer contact with him can outright kill you. And it's no fault of his own, he's not trying to hurt anybody, but whatever happened to make him this way happened, and now he's pretty much doomed to be alone forever unless someone can find a way to cure or resist it.
It reminds me a lot of an old question that used to pop up a lot...would Vayne or Lucian kill Amumu? He's undead, he's oozing with evil magic...but he's not malevolent. It's kind of a weird morals thing.
