My ban ends tonight.

Consider me on the straight and narrow from here on. 2 weeks without League was god-awful boring, and I've seen the tedium that a new account would entail. I'm scared straight. No more toxicity and belittling from this guy.

#famouslastwords.

No but really hopefully that's true!

Get a buddy to slap you straight if you fall outta line. +1 effectiveness if its the opposite sex.

Remember to takes breaks, preseason is probably the most frustrating time of the year on top of this year being drastically new.

Advice:

  1. Your fear is real. Next step after 2-week is permaban.
  2. Your fear might not last. Don't rely on IT to keep you from flaming or whatever you do. Instead, use your fear as motivation to figure out how to stop yourself from being toxic even when you're not scared, and so that you don't need to be scared.

If all else fails, use the mute button liberally, and hit 'Escape' instead of 'Enter' after typing out an insult. Good luck and have fun :3

My advice:

  1. Turn off /all chat
  2. Mute anyone, even temporarily, if you start getting mad at them
  3. Deep breaths
  4. Focus on what you need to do to win now, not what happened in the past
  5. Dwell only on your own mistakes, not others
  6. Type '/mute all' if you're ferociously triggered and need to pretend you're playing by yourself to calm down
  7. If you NEED to flame, do it out loud with your voice instead of typing it. This way you can expel frustration without getting reported
  8. If you finish a game that was extremely stressful and put you on tilt, take a break for at least half an hour to get comfortable

I'm glad to see the resolve you have for this, but it is important to look inward and see what makes your Rage and salt happen. It's important to recognize immediately when you are feeling it bubble up so you can sit back, Take a breath, and relax.

Remember, it's just a Video game. It's best to just have fun in any way possible. Is the enemy team snowballing out of control with no hope of a turnaround? Look for clever ways to escape fights instead of fighting. Maybe Practice some Game mechanics you struggle with, For example, Last hitting, Jungle sustain, Pathing and Ward placement. Finding every little spot on the map you can actually move your champ (On ARAM it's actually possible to stand partly inside the wall in the Middle bushes.)

Finding the little ways to have fun in an otherwise bad match is the key to avoiding getting toxic and subsequently banned.

This is why I hardly chat. I don't respond to the negativity that some players would give to players who are "not good enough" to play with them. I know that I am not good, but I am trying to get better and become a better player by playing and learning from those who are better than me.

I was also banned for two weeks, what provoked me, was lack of understanding of how I died, I would always reply with "vayne, true dmg op" or lee, "no mana and 7 skills", just venting, but what really helps with that is disabling all chat, its so much more peaceful too,

Especially when Lee takes your red, and walks of, and then says "ty :)"

Or, the enemy win a 4v5, and say "easy"......

Then they start to explain why we're the noobs for not winning XD

My goodness that hurts, so the best idea turn all chat off, easy life.

Sinister Anubis12/23/2015, 2:54:25 PM1 votes

You say that now i give you 2 weeks before you fall right back into that habit again. Trust me its really hard to not be toxic in riots standards.

GeorgeKnightRT12/23/2015, 5:57:00 PM1 votes

Don't forget to hide the chat box on the bottom edge of the screen, its far more quicker than mute all and it stays hidden in your next games too

ƒoes12/23/2015, 5:57:56 PM1 votes

Somehow, I'm kind of toxic, yet still haven't been banned for toxicity. The only bannable offense was leaving a couple games, and those where when life came up and ruined everything.

rand0mredneck12/24/2015, 12:25:04 AM1 votes

I got a skunked a few times today. And I didn't rage. I just told myself "They ain't worth it". And it worked. I actually got one of those "Friendly" honors.

TheYankee12/24/2015, 12:31:38 AM1 votes

is it bad that the attempt to level a new account is to make someone not want to get banned again?

SirHeavyScrotum12/24/2015, 4:19:39 AM1 votes

Yeah the thing about toxicity is that most of the time you wouldn't do that in real life, so I just think if I wouldn't say it in real life I shouldn't say it here either.

Chroyo12/24/2015, 2:29:07 PM1 votes

I might be a little late, but welcome back.

Biffolo12/23/2015, 5:08:07 AM1 votes

I wish you luck. I have to practically quit the game because it makes me hate people that much. I can't not loathe the people im locked in the games with, regardless of how hard I try. Good luck though man.

Kairya12/22/2015, 11:06:11 PM1 votes

You just have to be nice while flaming.

Example: Flame: OMG you noob no farm. Polite flame: Dear ADC, I would appreciate it, if you could practice your minion-farming a little in the forseeable future.

Good for you! Hope that is true!
