The Harrowing

So we know The Harrowing is a black mist from the Shadow Isles that carries monsters from there with it, and it's going to fuck up Bilgewater. What does this mean for the champions that are from Shadow Isles?

You're right, they should disable all shadow isle champs for the event from user picking, and make them epic mmo boss battles and force us on the the bilgewater map. If enough players die to them league is uninstalled do to no heroes being left to fight and are all enslaved to serve the Ruined King.

Of course immortals like Bard Morgana Kayle leave runeterra.

Kalista ? From the Shadow Isles? I think not.

Well, those champions u named are the ones attacking Bilgewater. Its not just killer mist. Not sure what your question is exactly.

Edit: not sure why this was downvoted, as I just misunderstood the question, but oh well.

My question is that these are (obviously) playable champions. This seems kind of messed up when you think about. These guys are attacking Bilgewater, yet you can play them and it's not like they are just story characters or something else more special. It really twists up the lore.

Well the gameplay and lore are pretty much completely unrelated to each other, especially since Riot killed of the institute of war, etc a while back. Events do not really change gameplay at all. Sure, a special gamemode comes out, but you can still play SR normally. The only exception to this was Gankplank's death, and that was unprecedented.

So, yes, it is a bit weird. But Riot disconnected lore and gameplay a while ago, so its not something new.
